Critics of rooftop wind turbines say that they simply dont work or dont work as well as advertised. The critics are right in some instances and that is why the consumer needs to know what they are getting into and what to watch out for before investing in a rooftop wind turbine. Some of the factors that will influence the output of the rooftop wind turbine include the design itself (horizontal or vertical axis) the kilowatt rating of the generator where the rooftop wind turbine is placed the angle or pitch of the roof how much wind the region provides and any obstructions that may block the wind.
Doing your gardening on the roof also helps put off water from the rain. So you can count on your garden plants to soak in some of that rain runoff before the water level rises. Aside from rain runoff your roof garden can also act as an insulator. Your plants will be the ones to absorb the daily dose of sunlight. Rooftop gardening can also help promote a temporary shelter for birds. They may be able to dwell in this area for the time being.
Usage of Recyclable Materials Recyclable materials like plastic containers doors frames bricks and wood scraps can be used to start a rooftop farm. You just need to assemble them neatly so that you use them to grow crops. Usage of Greenhouse If you can afford it you can also use a greenhouse to start a farm in your rooftop and build a vertical farm. A vertical farm on your rooftop would come out to be very beneficial as you will be able to produce a lot of crops while using only a small amount of space.
Why get married on a rooftop? The view! Many roof venues overlook a marvelous vista. In the country you will see fields and flowers and perhaps a river or mountains. In the city a rooftop wedding is especially nice in the evening when the view will be lit up with thousands of twinkling lights below. Another reason to look for an elevated site in the city is that they may be your best bet to get a clear view of the blue sky above. In addition most cities have rooftops which boast beautiful gardens - sort of like a little slice of paradise hidden in the concrete jungle.
